gratitude friday 1/4

I am grateful to be sitting here in front of my new iMac, on which I have successfully installed the new OS. On which I have successfully reinstalled iPhoto. Onto which I have successfully been able to move files. I was able to get the iMac to see my other computers all by itself.

I am grateful for the fact that I was able to email from the new OS; a common problem that doesn’t seem to be affecting me.

I am grateful for Apple support; I seem to have solved the interference issue with my Airtunes and can play music w/o static-y additional unwanted audio. Fingers crossed, strong intentions set.

I am grateful to be moving forward with all the myriad actions involved in getting a new computer up and running and for how much I’ve learned and how capable I am.

I am grateful to be nearly complete with the city of Oakland RFP. Just need to deliver it today.

I am grateful that in this wild stormy weather my electricity and internet are up and running. That’s lucky.

I am grateful for hula class and that I went even in 55mph winds. Driving over the bridge was exciting! I am grateful for my hula sisters and brothers who also showed up in the weather.

I am grateful for my new shawl which keeps me warm; glad to be wearing something fabulous made by these hands.

I am grateful grateful grateful. Life is good. I am healthy. Fit flexible and strong and for that I am grateful. And so it is.

Blessed be!

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
