gratitude friday 4/10

I’m a grateful woman. It’s sunny. I’m up. I’ve done yoga. I’m stretched fit and flexible. I am zero minus one day for this workshop. I’m well prepared and have plenty of time in this day to complete preparations.

bolster.jpgI had lots of coaching yesterday. I feel bolstered. What a good word, she said, having just put her bolster away after this morning’s workout. I. Feel Bolstered.

I melted down some at hula class last night and my east bay hula sisters gathered round and held me up. Bolstered again. This must be the word of the day.

I own my seat at my women’s AA meeting. And I love that.

I am whole I am complete I am free. And so it is.

Blessed be.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
