gratitude friday 4/4

I am grateful to be getting better every day. And for the oh so wise decision I made last night to rest one more night. Skipped hula!

recliner.jpgI’m grateful—I think—for the Lafuma zero-gravity recliner I bought myself. Looks a little weird in my living space; that kind of concern has never stopped me before. And it’s nice to have the option. Great for lounging and watching tv; so-so for knitting.

I’m grateful for taking a risk and reaching out again to my non-responsive friend about our plans to spend a day together. Did hear back this time, even if in a noncommittal fashion. Oh well. Glad to be riskin’, even if my picker leaves a lot to be desired.

images.jpegI am on top of my demanding schedule. Got a proposal (response to an RFP) out in time. Will be working all weekend (and treating myself to a viewing of Priceless with Audrey Tautou some time over the weekend. I deserve some fun and this one looks like it’s just that!

I’m grateful for my accountant and my tax situation this year. Nice to have a profitable year. And I state my very firm intention that ’08 is also going to be lovely abundant and profitable. And so it is!

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
