gratitude friday 6/13

Friday the 13th. Mid-June. Summer. I’m grateful to be present alive sober healthy fit and enjoying my life

I’m grateful that Kim is working on the mermaid chalice for me. It’s beautiful.

I’m grateful for my art. My craft. Crafts. My amusements. For my work. My clients and my new clients. For my vendors. For being very very very busy.

I’m grateful to be a member of a board. Feels very grown up.

I’m grateful to have more joy and less resentment in my life.

chiastolite44.jpgI’m grateful for the gift I got for Shari’s procession. A candle that I dressed for her with all kinds of good stuff and three stones, rose quartz for love; orange calcite for creativity, confdence, playfulness and to overcome sadness; and this beautiful brown stone with two crossed black lines on each side called chiastolite for protection and spiritual direction. Yes those lines look like a cross; how perfect for my cherished friend who is a sister of mercy.

Blessed be!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
