gratitude friday 9/19

I am so grateful today. Even though things are challenging and buggy, I am so grateful.

Couldn’t reach Kat by Skype phone this morning. This on top of ridiculous problems with Skype that I don’t seem to be able to fix. Sheesh. So I emailed her and told the truth about how out of sorts I’ve been. How worried. How desperate. How scared. And I got back the loveliest email. Kind, loving. I read it and was moved to tears. And I feel quite blessed.

I’m grateful for hula class and my hula sisters. I am well connected with wonderful women. Blessed be!

Learning the music of Lena Machado; just bought myself an album for my listening pleasure.

I am grateful that I will get to see the Frida Kahlo exhibit next week. Nearly missed it!

And that I found that I can get to hula by taking two buses from the SF modern art museum and then get a ride back to my car. Nice. Kinda exciting.

Life is good. I am blessed. Mabon—autumn equinox—this weekend. Balance of light and dark. Harvest time.

All is well, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Everything is. Always.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
