gratitude monday 10/5

I am grateful grateful grateful. And tired!

Such a big weekend. Leila’s birthday party all day and night Saturday.

Much to be grateful for:

The joy of hearing Leila play and sing with her band. So wonderful to see and hear her in her magnificence.

The joy of meeting more of Leila’s peeps. Especially Claire and Stacey and Steve.

The joy of getting to know Jen more and more. And her gorgeous baby Theo.

The joy of being present in an all-day social situation and having fun.

I’m grateful that the SBA board retreat has come and gone. A long-ass day. And grateful that I was sitting next to Leila all day, keeping each other company and providing humor and distraction for each other.

I’m grateful for our dinner together to cap off her birthday. Took her to her favorite local restaurant. Yum. We shared a salad and a steak. Delicious!

A big tiring long wonderful weekend.

I’m a grateful woman.

The joy of the deepening rippling relatedness with Leila. I am awed. Humbled. Lucky.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
