gratitude monday 1/14

I am grateful grateful grateful.

I declare that I am healthy, and that all is well. In this beautiful moment in this beautiful universe, where spirit is everywhere I turn. Where love and beauty and sunshine and birdsong are all manifestation of the universal spirit. There is no lack, no disease, no strife. No matter what happens, no matter what, this loving beautiful spirit is everywhere in everyone all the time. I am so so grateful to know this and to know that everyone I meet, everything I see, and everywhere in me is this spirit. I declare myself well and fit and that my needs are met. I release this declaration into the law of this wonderful universe and I let go I let go I let go. I am just right! And so it is.

I am grateful for the wonderful new dance venue on Sunday nights. R&B/soul music. Great music great dancers and great fun. I danced Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

I went to movie night at Andrew’s with a crowd of new friends. We saw Bourne Identity. Fun.

Blessed with beautiful weather. Sunny, cool.

Got to the farmers market and cooked up a heap of food.

Took Belinda to dinner to celebrate her birthday. Second time to TukTuk Thai, noisy but good food. Nice enough to walk around south Berkeley afterwards and browse at the bookstore. How nice is that.

Started a new shawl that I’m knitting.

Visited dad and brought him some food. Spent time with him. Took a little care of him. A blessing to be able to be with him.

I am grateful I am blessed life is good.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
