Gung hei fat choi. Happy new year, the year of the ox. The ox has many of the same qualities of Capricorn, grounded, practical. Bodes well financially, methinks.
Today there’s a new moon solar eclipse in Aquarius. A new moon for radical change. They (the astrologers whose blogs I read) say the temptation to take risks will be great but that it’s still time to wait, at least until Mercury goes direct again on February first.
Sun’s in Aquarius, new moon today in Aquarius, and Jupiter has entered Aquarius where it will be for all of 2009. Aquarius, the water bearer, who kneels as he pours forth his offering of water in an attitude of service. Aquarius seeks to cleanse, illuminate and purify. Aquarius says Why not? It’s the time to be open to radical revelation.
Aquarius is also the ruler of technology, all the magical techno miracles that inform our lives. Plus it’s the sign of progressiveness and humanitarianism—Obama’s rising sign.
Jupiter brings us—exuberantly—the time to envision the best potential, the best future: hope, fellowship, community and social justice.
Transformation time! That is great news.
I love reading and researching planetary influences; it’s something I have really missed in my life.
I’m grateful for a long day of witchy rituals, sewing, and being surrounded by my sisters. Very wonderful.
And for Saturday’s lovely busy day. Errands, working out with my sister, decluttering, and having dinner and a movie with a friend.
Life is really really good and I am blessed.
