gratitude monday 1/5

I am grateful. I was grateful to learn that Rose reached out to my sister and apologized for missing the bat mitzvah. I read the email and I’m proud of Rose.

I’m grateful that I went and looked at a new place to live. I’m starting to check out what’s out there. This one wasn’t a good fit.

I’m grateful for this new day, back to work after the holiday weeks. And for this new year.

I’m grateful that I know that the negative thoughts in my head are not real. And that I have the chops to turn away from them and pour positive intention all over them, juicing up the possibilities. Life is certainly more enjoyable when I stand in faith.

I’m grateful for the time I got to spend sewing and chatting with Raven yesterday. Sunny cold winter morning, making quilting squares.

I’m grateful for the excitement of rituals coming. Full moon this Friday. New group forming on the 25th. And the return to the crone’s group next week.

I’m grateful.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
