gratitude monday 3/23

I am back. Grounded, happy, a bit adrift. The year and a day of service and learning has ended and now it’s new and different. I am an ordained high priestess in the Dianic Amazon tradition. Six of us have landed up here (nine of us began the process). And we are complete. We are done.

I am so grateful for this experience. Solemn and somber. Hysterically funny. Sisterhood. Tears. Laughter. Grief. Joy. Humble acceptance. Resistance and then acceptance again. I feel quite blessed.

I get to prepare for my first public event—a blessing at a wedding banquet. Neat. A two-minute thing which I’m taking totally seriously.

I’m crazy grateful for Manea’s hair coaching. Finding how to get more curl and less frizzcloud out of this new mass of hair.

I am very grateful for this life. For all the gifts and blessings. For the challenges and learning experiences. For love all around me, inside me, outside me.

I am grateful for health. And for work and for abundant opportunity.

Life rocks.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
