It’s Monday. I have done what I set out to do…finally did my month-end/month-beginning $ numbers. I delayed for a few days partly out of reluctance, partly out of having a really busy Beltane weekend.
I declare abundance, economic turnaround, personally, in business, in my community, in my country and throughout the planet. So mote it be! I have nothing to fear and nothing from which to run away.
What a fabulous Beltane weekend. Working backwards, a day yesterday of taking on a new sponsee. Of clearing space in the garden for my seedlings to grow. Which meant uprooting and separating and replanting baby mizuna and tatsoi seedlings so they have ample room around them, so they can thrive.
I am so grateful for my neighbor Peter’s help. He drilled holes in my half barrel for drainage. Now I don’t have to worry about it turning into a swamp and killing my peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, dill, St. John’s wort and borage. No easy task, this hole-drilling. The barrel weighed about 60# empty and is now filled up with wet dirt. Blessings to you Peter for this generosity.
I’m grateful for the ability to buy and cook sustainably raised pastured meat. I cooked up a storm yesterday, grilling and roasting and prepping and freezing meat for the next few weeks.
I’m so grateful for the two amazing Beltane rituals this weekend. Two very different rituals, both wild with dancing and intention. Both with ribbons and flowers and lively Beltane energy. I feel so blessed!
I’m grateful that I have the skills and information to work out the kinks in my body after a night of drumming.
And I’m backing this gratitude to Thursday night, when I was blessed to attend Iris’ birthday celebration at my new favorite restaurant, Cafe Gratitude. Yummy food and a triple table full of loved ones. Life rocks.
I am blessed.
