gratitude monday 7/21

Monday morning. Ho’ike is this coming Saturday. Lots of energy going toward this. Last night I poked the drawstring through all 4.5 yards of the skirt and the elastic through the top. All that’s left to do is iron these pieces and they will be complete.

Practice yesterday. Double run-through and lots of admiring each others’ pa’u handiwork.

Some down time yesterday. Newspaper, puzzles, tv. Quiet time. Nice.

A visit with an old friend Saturday night. A friend from Arica and t’ai chi days. Lovely to spend time with Eric. I’m grateful I still have him in my life.

And the full-moon ritual Friday night was wonderful. I love being AstroGirl and giving the full-moon report. Nice. And drumming, of course.

I am grateful for my life. My health. My wealth. My talent. My smarts. My curiousity. My technology. My friends. My sisters in spirituality and in hula. My family. I am blessed many times.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. 1. Yes, Sue, you are blessed. And we are all blessed to have you in our lives. I love the Astro reports that you give because I’m not knowledgeable in this area. I also have to mention that your drumming is magical. Lots and lots of talent packed into that little body of yours!!!
I love you for who you are and who you are becomming.

Chime in!
