gratitude monday 8/11

I’m grateful. Yes I am.

I’m still in the caffeine withdrawal and it’s pretty bleak sometimes. Like when I don’t have something to *do!*

Quiet time has been kicking my ass.

I declare that peaceful loving time with myself will return without the stimulation of gallons of oolong.

I declare it! And may it be soon. May this lethargy/depression get kicked to the curb very very very soon!

032.pngI’m grateful for Eric’s ho’ike photos arriving in the mail. I’ll be posting shots from these over the next week or so, as I find the ones I can bear to look at. This was an amazing event and I am so glad so glad so glad to be a hula haumana (student).

Only four more days until my next class.

I’m grateful for seeing my witchsters this weekend: Rowan, Kismet, Pixie and Molly at Rowan’s b’day celebration.

I’m grateful for Andrew’s generosity: He’s making a cushion for me for kneeling hula *and* a carry bag for my ipu he’ke. Wowowowow. I’m loved.

I’m grateful for knitting and tv and tarot and good food and workouts and family and friends and hula and love and rest and dancing.

It’s a beautiful day. Blessed be!

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
