gratitude monday 8/25

It’s Monday and I speak my gratitude.

I am grateful for my sisters in the craft; for our time together—twelve hours—Saturday, bonding and doing our work.

I still feel the powerful effects, kinda like coming down off a big acid trip. (Yes I remember what that’s like.)img_0479.png

So much happened. Including my meltdown at the end when I ran outta gas and got very very cranky. Oy vey. Sometimes I just cannot manage my energy very well at all. I’ve apologized and I’m apologizing to all again here. Hope you can forgive it.

img_0480.pngI am grateful for a quiet day yesterday. Lots of sleep. Reading for pleasure. A walk by the bay. Photos, lots of photos. I have lots of my sisters too; those pix will be posted privately.

I am grateful for practicing drumming, practicing hula, getting to be friends with more people. I love my hula family and my witchy family. I am blessed.

Word of wisdom for the day: Never go to Target the weekend before school starts. Just sayin’.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
