gratitude monday 9/21

I am so grateful! I am grateful for precisely this moment. For taking care of myself. For ease and grace. For rest. For patience with this cold. For being proactive in my life. Proactive for my health.

I am grateful for my family, for my dad, my sister, my niece, my brother-in-law. For deep connections.

I’m grateful for the wonderful moments of love in my life. For Leila’s presence in my life. For the gifts that are the bounty received after risks taken, after honest truths told, after generosity and kindness shared.

I’m grateful for the releasing I get to do that keeps me in the present (detaching me from the future and the past).

I’m grateful for unbelievable balmy transition-to-autumn days. Sunshine, cool baby breezes, perfect conditions. Just sayin’…

I’m grateful for this poem that’s dancing around in my head. Nearly time to get the words on paper. (Work!)

I’m grateful for food as medicine. For my commitments to health and wellness.

I am so blessed.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
