gratitude saturday 5/31

The last day of the month. I just declared it a weekend free of business development. Yes I will do my numbers. And the rest of it is me time. I have some important things on the agenda. Like cleaning my gas grill. And having a consult with an herbalist. I’ve been waiting a long time for that one.

I am so grateful for the gathering of amazon priestesses in my house last night. Nine of us. Working for five hours. Eating and talking and laughing. And sharing about the work we’re doing. And about work we are going to take on next. I am taking on a leadership role with Kismet in establishing a woman’s sabbat ritual group. My life is so blessed.

We made our charm bags. My little table was heaped up with stones and herbs and glitter and milagros and runes and shells and stars and ribbons and glitter pens and more. We all decorated our bags and charged them up and made cords so we can wear them around our hips. I loved it!

Blessed day. Blessed women. I am so grateful for my community. Woohoo!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
