gratitude sunday 3/16

I am most grateful for this gorgeous almost-spring weekend. What wonderful days. Sunny, cool, breezy, exquisite.

I am grateful for a full rich juicy life that I find myself enjoying more and more. And in the moment too! Not just after the fact. Not just in retrospect. Ah, that’s better. 🙂

I’m grateful for plenty o’work and for changing the way I’m allocating blocks of time to different projects. More productive. Less scattered.

I’m grateful for my new commitment to turn off the email program and let the phone go to voicemail when I’m writing or doing project work.

I’m grateful for my new commitment to eat mindfully. To chew thoroughly. To bless my food before I eat it.

I’m grateful for watching the second Bourne movie with friends Friday night and then going dancing. I’m grateful that Don visited from Texas and I got to have two dances with him.

I’m grateful for dinner and movie with my sister Saturday night. I love spending time with her.

I’m grateful for my nutrition doctor and for his support in my ongoing quest to feel better and better. To feel perfectly well. All the time.

I’m grateful for time with my spiritual mama today. And for telling the truth and for her careful attention and her generous loving support.

I’m grateful for tasks completed and my powerful scheduling skills and for courageously snipping some items right out of my schedule in honor of getting some rest.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
