gratitude thursday 10/9

I am grateful that the dreams of sideswiping cars and car crashes are only dreams. Even in my dreams, I feel jolted. I am a bit post-traumatic. I am grateful to be alive.

I am grateful for being awake and aware and grateful.

I am grateful my sister is safely back in town after her travels.

I am grateful for being asked to invoke the ancestors at our upcoming ritual. It feels so right, with the veils thinning and the coming of Samhain. Our pagan high holiday. I love that.

Today is Yom Kippur. The high holiday of the tradition of my birth. I am grateful to be connected and aware. And grateful that I know my path.

I am blessed. All is well. I am healing. My car will be healing too. Blessed be.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
