gratitude thursday 12/18

Mmmmm, the aroma of roasting brussels sprouts and steaming artichokes. Veggies cooking away on this almost-solstice morning.

Lovely to cook first thing in the morning.

I had such a wonderful day yesterday. I have a new coaching client in my practice. And a happy graphic design client. Abundant doings on a lovely sunny day.

And a visit with my sister and brother-in-law.

And a wonderful chiropractic appointment.

And an easy resolution to the mix up with my insurance company. Sheesh.

I’m a grateful woman.

I’m grateful for my health. And my friends. And my spiritual life. And for moving forward with my role in this coming Friday’s ritual, even if it means doing something scary! I will be invoking and aspecting Ame-no-Uzume, she who caused mirth and merriment which made Amaterasu come out of her cave, bringing back the light. I will be dancing around — naked — and making people laugh. Wow! Should be pretty amazing. And, like I said, scary.

I’m grateful to be a goddess-centered woman. It is so right for me.

I am grateful grateful grateful. Blessed be.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
