gratitude thursday 12/9

Almost winter.

Almost the solstice, the longest night of the year. Almost time to welcome the return of the light.

I am grateful for my friends, my loved ones.

I am grateful for willingness to take difficult, challenging and scary actions that I know are the right actions.

I am grateful for robust health and strength.

I am grateful for an agile and curious intellect.

I am grateful for challenging and fun work.

I am crazy grateful for technology. I love my computers, I love my devices, I love being a technogeek googlemancer.

I am grateful for compassion, generosity and gratitude. Qualities that are new in my life and that are daily replacing the old qualities of resignation and bitterness.

I am grateful to know that I am a victim of nothing, that I choose my responses and my reality.

I am grateful to celebrate the wheel of the year. To celebrate that even in the darkest times, the light persists and returns. Another turning, another turning.

I am deeply grateful for the relationship I am blessed to have with my daughter Rose. So. Much. Healing.

Life is good and I am grateful!

Eisodus or exodus? Where is your heart headed?

Eisodus or exodus?

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
