gratitude thursday 1/31

I’m grateful. This blog is now listed on BlogExplosion. Whatever that means. Still doesn’t show up in a search engine; won’t until some other site links to me….Not a major concern; this will trickle out as it’s meant to.

I’m grateful to be complete with a giant job. I learned a lot and that’s wonderful.

I’m grateful to have grilled up a bunch of food; now have delicious cooked meat for my lunches and dinners packed in glass containers in the freezer—enough for the next few weeks.

I’m grateful for greens and snap peas and brussels sprouts. Grateful that I had the first local asparagus this week and the first local avocados recently. Spring is on the way. How nice to live in California with its lonnnnnng growing season.

I’m grateful that I’ve completed the assignments for initiation next week. I have everything ready.

I’m grateful for reaching out, for friends. For hearing from K, back from her long trip to Mexico, and hearing her plans to move there soon. Looks like I need to listen for a new sponsor.

I’m grateful for going to a meeting with C&P, celebrating C’s ten years’ sobriety. Glad for good neighbors.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. Want to know a little more about me and my journey? Explore the site. Read the blog. Connect with me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
