gratitude thursday 2/28

I’m grateful to be a learner. I am developing proficiency in Dreamweaver. Cool. I’m editing web pages and learning my way around.

I’m grateful for worship. For listening to inspiring words last night. Inspired to turn to the good. Again and again. It’s a choice.

I’m grateful to be a positive empowered woman. I show up to a networking event yesterday morning and I listen to monkey mind telling me there’s no way I can get into this boy’s club. That I’m doomed. And then I start repeating to myself that there’s nothing more powerful than a self-actualized menopausal woman. And at the end of the meeting I break through my self-imposed barriers and create connection and appointments and business is juicy. I choose to turn to the good and when I assume that I am included it turns out I am. Friendly coopetition. I love that.

I am grateful for my clean house. Tidy suits me.

I’m grateful for lovely weather and springtime.

I’m grateful for my shawl being almost finished. I think it’s gonna be lovely lovely lovely.

Life is good and I’m grateful.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
