gratitude thursday 3/12

Song of the day: Ophelia by The Band.

I love this! I can DJ my favorite song of the moment as I post. Nice. Fun for me.

quilt in progressI added another row to the quilt last night. Geometrically, it is just not working out very well. Sigh. I am loving my imperfect quilt anyway. Seems I landed up with a whole lotta different sized squares. Next time, if I ever do one like this again, I think I’ll measure (duh!) as I go and amend each square so I get consistent sizing. And I am gonna love this quilt anyway.

I’m so grateful for the loan of Brighde’s sewing maching. I reloaded the bobbin yesterday! Successfully. How cool is that!

I’m grateful for my work and my craft and my art.

I’m grateful for my family and my friends. I’m grateful for the upcoming ordination.

I’m grateful for my knee feeling so much better! Woohoo! Hope is strong.

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
