Got up and out of bed at six today. I’m preparing for ordination. Got a box packed with my tools: my chalice, cauldron, crown, tarot deck, scrying stone, wand and I’ve got my ring on my finger. Priestess traveling road show.
I am so grateful for this day, for this event. I am humbled.
I am grateful for my quilt. I worked on it for hours last night. Next comes another hard part: I get to measure and cut the excess backing and create a fold-over binding that covers the edges and shows for about an inch on the front. The final frontier. Gulp! A knowing: I’ve made it this far and I will make it to the end.
I am grateful my DVR decided to work again. Another day of dealing with Comcast. Ick. I’ve got a service call scheduled for Monday. Oh joy.
[Mentally slapping my hand…I should be grateful for all this technology and yes it doesn’t always work.] Okay, thank goodness for Comcast’s tech support. This is gonna work out just fine!
I’m grateful for my beloved friend Raven (we share a witch-name). I am so lucky that we have become friends. MaeNam too, and Victoria and Brighde. What wonderful women in my life.
I am grateful for my kid: she called yesterday to get my advice about her health. And took in what I had to say! I love our relationship today.
I am grateful for everything in life. For life itself. For friends. For community. For spiritual practices. For humor. For health.
Blessed blessed be!
