gratitude thursday 3/20

Mmmm, I’m grateful this morning. I’m feeling healthy and fit. And that’s totally lovely. I’ve been getting good rest this week. And having lots of adventures as well.

I finished my shawl last night! Completed it at the KnitOneOne gathering and got lots of applause when I threw it on my shoulders. It’s lovely.

I’m thinking that my next project might be an altar runner. Wonder if that could work, be flat enough for candles. I’ll knit up some swatches and see… Fun.  The planning phase.

I’m grateful for a visit with dad that was easy. Brief, friendly, loving. Easy. Nice.

I’m grateful to have this man, my dad, still in my life. And doing so well.

I’m grateful to hear from my daughter. And that she is doing well too. What a blessing.

I’m grateful I’ve accomplished so much prep work on my upcoming workshop. I have been so nervous about this! And now I’m in action…not *so* scary after all.

I’m grateful for the equinox, for the lengthening of the days. For my ritual circles tomorrow and Saturday. For pastel colors and buds on every branch. Life is lovely and I am blessed.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
