gratitude thursday 4/2

Nice to wake up to: My new article has been published in 360 Boom e-magazine. It’s called “Moving Beyond Your Fear of Money.”

Not so nice to wake up to: Email is down and tech support hasn’t fixed it yet. And, of course, at the end of a tedious tech support call, mostly spent listening to bad music on hold, I get pitched to buy more services. Hmm, how does this work? I call in because your service isn’t working and you pick this moment to try to get more services out of me? Great business model!

I’m so grateful for friends. An evening with Heidi and four other women, celebrating her upcoming wedding. Food, chat, tea for me and champagne for them, fun.

I’m grateful for lunch with a client; I’m blessed with clients I really like.

I’m grateful for money to pay bills and take care of expenses.

I’m so grateful—there are seedlings sprouting in my kitchen! Amazing. I put seeds in dirt and I keep the dirt moist for a week and now I see sprouts! Exciting. I am going to grow things that I can eat. Scary fun.

I am a grateful woman. Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
