gratitude thursday 5/15

The most delicious apricots are in my kitchen. From Blossom Bluff farms. I can’t believe I am starting to know the names of the different farmstands at the farmers markets. Names of farmstands, names of varieties of fruits and veggies. I love living in California. Especially in stone fruit season. Yumyumyum.

I am grateful for work going so well. Lots to present today and tomorrow. New logos. New taglines. New logos. New website opening animation. It’s very cool. I will post the link as soon as the site launches.

I’m grateful for meeting new potential clients. And for my relationships with my two main vendors. My pool of talent is deep and does dynamite work.

I’m grateful for a visit with my dad. And for my commitment to see him again later this week. For the reduction in sarcasm and bitterness in my relationship with him.

I’m grateful for the new Linda Fairstein crime novel from the library. I love my library!

I’m grateful for my tarot studies. Next is to find the right and perfect tarot study notebook.

I’m grateful for a movie with Andrew. The new Helen Hunt–directed one. Eh. Not much of a movie. Colin Firth and Bette Midler stood out. A 9:30 show midweek. Four people including us. I. Love. Movies.

All is well. It’s a beautiful day and it will be hot hot hot. And all my summer pants fit just fine. I am a grateful woman.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
