gratitude thursday 7/3

Last night’s new moon reading: Go or Do Not Go to Hawaii? Decision time today.

goornogo.pngThis reading is amazing. I can go or not. Either way will be transformative. Clearly. If I go I will have change, maybe big and violent or maybe inner and quiet. Either way, it will be substantive (see the Tower card). The result of going: The Fool on her journey. That’s a blessing if ever I saw one.

If I do not go, I get a result of balance and wisdom.

And the advice of the King of Pentacles: I just don’t hear what it’s telling me. Fulfillment of a creative task, pinnacle of prosperity?

I must admit that while I don’t feel very prosperous, the gift of these miles from my dad and the good business I have been blessed to have so far in 2008 feels very very prosperous.

If any of my readers has an idea, please comment or email me. I would be so grateful for your input! How do you read these cards?

I am blessed, I am grateful, I am grateful, that I can even consider this trip. And so it is!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. 1. Wow. I don’t have a ton of time, but that definitely is an interesting reading–my take is that going will be more transformative, but staying will keep you along a path you’re already on. (Empress to Fool vs. Empress to Emperor.)

King of Pentacles-that’s a tough one. Mastery of something you’re building? Achievement of physical or material goals, maybe. (Pentacles are always tough for me! I’ll take swords any day!) That’s a really powerful reading…wow. I’m amazed. Whatever you do, it will turn out well, I think.
