gratitude wednesday 10/15

The glowing full moon setting over west oakland this morning as I take out the trash. The moon is full in Aries. Libra’s balance and Aries’ energy. Samhain in two weeks. The veils are thinning.

I am grateful for knowing what I know and being open to learning more.

I am grateful for being open to learning. Went to a web2.0 workshop yesterday; fun. Saw my sales coach, whom I hadn’t worked with in over a year.

I am grateful for the ability to get up and out early in the morning to this event. Out of bed by six a.m. Wow.

I am grateful for my house being cleaned. It had been too long.

I am grateful for a productive meeting with a client. I am grateful that I didn’t overreact when it became pretty clear that another client was expecting me to do work for free.

I am grateful for the beautiful autumn weather and the few trees whose leaves turn red and maroon.

I am grateful for serving on the SBA board. It’s a privilege. And fun.

I am grateful for roasted brussels sprouts.

And for the decision to do a few days of the master cleanse next week.

I am a grateful woman.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
