gratitude wednesday 10/29

Witchy morning. Samhain season. Day of the Dead. Ritual tonight. I get to priestess at a new coven for the first time. I’m nervous and happy.

I’m grateful for my life. For taking a big risk and inviting a bunch of people to my home for birthday tea. Watching myself agonize over responses and non-responses.

Oh well.

I’m grateful for scheduling my life and living my schedule.

I’m grateful for the lunchtime AA meetings at the Lake Merritt Dance Center. Good to be going there once or twice a week.

I’m grateful for a good workout at the gym.

I’m grateful for standing for good work from my vendors with kindness. This is different. No eye-rolling. No tsk-ing. No sarcasm. Wow

I’m grateful to be willing to change.

Blessed be.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
