gratitude wednesday 1/21

Okay. I am still wildly happy about this…George Bush is not the president! Dancing for joy about this one.

I am actually more grateful about this fact than I am about the fact of Obama. Just sayin’.

I am more grateful about the historical and cultural implications of the election of a non-white guy than I am about what looks to be in store for Americans politically and economically. Centrism and compromise. Feh.

I am grateful to be alive this morning. I am grateful for hope and faith. And willingness. The secret sauce of my life.

I am grateful for my phone relationship with my sponsor Kat. Who now lives in Mexico. I love our nearly weekly chats.

I’m grateful for work that challenges me. I’m grateful for my teammates, for their generosity.

I’m super grateful for Skype’s new sharing function; Robert can now see what’s on my screen—I don’t have to send files or screen captures. That is so cool!

I’m grateful for the Space Clearing boot camp that started last night. I am now committed to decluttering on a whole new level. Nice.

I’m grateful to have made time to sit with my sister in the ER as she waited to get stitched up after an incident when the back of her cleaver cut her knuckle. She got four stitches. Poor baby. Glad to be a supportive sister.

I’m grateful to be grateful. It is done.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
