gratitude wednesday 1/7

I’m grateful today. I’m learning more and more every day.

I’m grateful for being a reader. And for using the Oakland and Berkeley library system to reserve the books I want to read. I spend much less on books than in the past.

I just reread—for pure pleasure—the three Nero Wolfe books about his arch-nemesis Arnold Zeck. And I love the internet. I google *the three Nero Wolfe books about Zeck* and I land up on Wikipedia pages with all the geeky lists and details I could possibly want about the Nero Wolfe books. Received the books on Saturday and finished the third one last night.

I’m grateful for my sponsor. We talk — or try to — once a week. She’s living in Mexico and this is our way to connect.

I’m grateful for the four meetings a week I attend now.

I’m grateful for being on the board of the SBA. We are moving forward on the logo and web redesign. Fun.

Life is good and I am blessed.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
