It’s Tuesday morning and it’s sunny and the forecast calls for 67 degrees. I have khakis on for the first time in months. It’s a lovely morning and I’m grateful.
I’m grateful for reflexive generosity—a reflex that gets stronger every day. My sister called and told me she had been in a car accident and was hurting. I offered to go over there and help her out. I went to a networking event and a woman in a wheelchair needed a ride to north Berkeley. I first said no, because it’s miles out of my way. I immediately turned around and offered her a ride. Turned out she already had it covered. Felt great to connect with her. Felt great to offer.
I’m grateful for my studies. Memorizing the Charge of the Star Goddess. Hard work. Powerful words to repeat and re-repeat.
I’m grateful for the change of seasons. Asparagus at the market.
I am blessed.
