gratitude wednesday 7/23

Gratitude. Morning. Sunshine. The return of warm weather. Good health. Life. Sobriety. A chance to continue using K as my sponsor, even with her living in Mexico. I’m very happy about that. We’ll try the weekly phone call thing; see if we can make that work.

I’m grateful for my witchy support. I went ahead and bought myself a black candle and dragon’s blood incense and was gifted with some dragon’s blood oil. I will etch the candle with my intentions — something like Release Caffeine Good Health — and dress it with the oil and I will burn the incense. I might use the oil on my head if I get headache.

Grateful to feel empowered by these actions.

Grateful for cooking up a storm; plenty o’healthy food in the house.

Grateful for the canisters and jars I ordered. I now have lots of small tins for herbs and teas. Cool!

Grateful for my gift idea for this year’s holidays: I will make some oils as gifts. And I will invite my witchsters to do so with me—a holiday giftmaking gathering. I can just see it!

I’m grateful to be grateful. I am blessed.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
