gratituesday 12/16

Mmmmm, I am grateful for my calendar. I just sent two e-cards to friends, cherished friends, who have birthdays this week. Found a site that allows me to pick from a set of goddess images and create an e-card. I kept mine simple (no funky java effects, no background elevator-ish music). Just chose a beautiful image and wrote a love note. Done and done!

I’m grateful for being warm in crazy cold weather. It’s 34º here today! Wow. That’s cold. For me, now that I’ve become California-ized. Very cold.

I’m grateful for my new space heater that warms up this room very nicely.

I’m grateful for work done, benchmarks made, being on time, moving projects along as appropriate.

I’m grateful for my clients.

I’m very grateful that I got through an uncomfortable (for me) meeting with a client. I just deleted the details here as this is a public forum. Enough to say that I have gratitude for the way I handled myself and for the outcome.

I’m grateful for my oldtimers meeting. What a crowd. I love how it holds the center of my Mondays.

I’m grateful for my workout, even if I did misplace my stainless steel water bottle. Sheesh!

I’m grateful for my coven sisters and our meeting last night. Two hours of talking through our new initiates and choosing big sister pairs. I am blessed.

Life is lovely. Winter is coming. It’s cold and rainy and cold. I am warm and safe. Blessed be.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
