gratituesday 12/2

Gratitude in my attitude.

I am grateful for this moment. This day. This life.

I am grateful for persistence. I have no shoes that are comfortable for cool/cold-weather wearing. I have bought and returned a bunch of shoes and have just ordered two more pair. I will I will I will have happy feet this winter. Warm, dry and comfortable for walking. I love to walk! I just need support.

I am grateful for everything I get to learn in this life. I am grateful for being a learner.

I am excited about the crone’s circle that starts this weekend. I am lucky. Cool homework. Write my own obit. And write a list of things that have changed in my life since I was a child in groups of three:

Three things about the world that have changed;
Three things about my body that have changed;
Three demands on me that I no longer feel I need to fulfill;
Three things I fear about becoming older;
Three things I always dreamed of doing but have never done;
Three women older than me that I choose for role models.

Very provocative; fun to do.

I’m grateful for the new space heater I bought last night. I am ready to be warm this winter in this chilly space.

I am grateful for my schedule. For a day with a meeting. For a consult with my herbalist. For acknowledging that I’m feeling better. For feeling better! Woohoo!

Life is good and I am blessed. Blessings all.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
