gratituesday 3/24

I am so grateful for my life. For health and friends and love.

For sunshine and cold spring weather.

For growth everywhere I look. Buds on all the branches. New leaves.

For the Twitter conversation. I love having the search for new design projects always open on my desktop, and for the ease of making short quick replies.

For interesting and challenging work.

For a rigorous workout. And for a challenging hula class. Hula ili’ili—where smooth stones are used as castanets while kneeling and rising and kneeling and rising and clicking stones while rotating wrists. Sheesh. It’s a wildly challenging dance.

I’m grateful for a positive attitude. And for smiles.

I’m grateful for the feedback I got on my quilt (I took it out so I could work on it at a meeting).

Life is lovely! I feel so blessed.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
