gratituesday 3/30

What? End of March tomorrow? Jeeze.

I am grateful for the funds to make a contribution to my retirement fund this year. Thanks dad. And for the willingness/determination to save save save most of the money in the inheritance. Thanks again, dad.

And I’m so crazy grateful for the spending I’m doing (new shoes) and planning to do (travel, more education, a new laptop).

I am grateful for health and a happy heart.

I am wildly grateful for my CAYA family. Spells class last night was simply wonderful.

I am grateful for the four new things that came into my closet from the clothing swap. I wore a beautiful cross-the-heart top last night that suits me.

I am grateful for playing hooky yesterday afternoon and seeing How To Train Your Dragon with my daughter Rose. Well done and fun.

I am grateful that as the mourning continues and does its thing my sister Barbara and I continue to stay close. She’s making me lunch today. Nice.

I am grateful to have a seder to attend tonight.

I am grateful for rainy weather.

I am grateful for passion.

I’m grateful to be booked to DJ twice in the next five weeks. Yay! That will get me on the dance floor.

Blessings blessings blessings abound. I am so lucky!

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
