GratiTuesday 4/3

I am grateful grateful.

  • I am grateful for the new additions to the Gratitude Challenge. Welcome Theresa and Mary Jane!
  • I am grateful that I am learning my way around WordPress. I successfully installed and implemented a signup form (you can see it in the sidebar) that offers a quick and easy way to join my newsletter list. If you’re not on it, give it a try. I write articles a couple of times a month, hopefully useful and inspirational. And of course you can always opt out if you don’t like it!
  • I am grateful for a visit with my dear friend Kat, who may be moving back from her expatriation in Mérida (Mexico). It’s refreshing to hear an American missing the U.S., when I feel so strongly and so often that I can’t take it any more and want to get out of here. Why, you ask? Women’s rights. Gun rights. Abuses of power. Stuff like that gets to me… And here’s Kat saying how much she misses being here where she at least has an avenue for protest and activism. Important perspective, yo.
  • I am grateful for inviting my sister to play with me, to co-create a birthday card/collage for our other sister’s 60th birthday. I’m so glad she said yes! Now we get to hunt for cool and cute images and make something pretty and full of love for her.
  • I am grateful that I can stop there. That I don’t have to censor this impulse for fear she won’t like it. That part is outside of my hula hoop (a very useful image for what’s my business and what is most definitely not; feel free to use it—it works).
  • I am grateful for my support system. It’s big, robust, and full of love.
  • I am grateful for the support I give others, freely, from my loving heart.
  • I am grateful for the first conversation I had with Jared, the young man in Nebraska who is living with my daughter. Embracing, accepting and relating with what is. I don’t get to write this movie.
  • I am grateful for spring, the garden beckons, digging in the dirt is just around the corner.
  • I am grateful for the connection to gratitude.
  • I am grateful for this morning’s prayer.
  • I am grateful for this morning’s remembrance meditation. My open loving heart is bowing to the heart of my mission, my life, and my business.
  • I am grateful that I know I am blessed.

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. Want to know a little more about me and my journey? Explore the site. Read the blog. Connect with me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
