gratituesday 4/8

It’s Tuesday morning and I’m sippin’ my tea and wakin’ up. Cool. Lovely birdsong outside my window. Uggs on my feet. Warm and happy to be alive.

I have added an activity to the whirlwind of preparation I’ve been doing for the workshop: resting! Last night and the night before I was in bed before midnight and I spent a couple of hours knitting and reclining in my zero-grav chair and watching tv. Quiet.

I picked up my pants. Hemmed perfectly. Look lovely. I am all set.

(Wish I liked my haircut; oh well.)

I got to the gym yesterday. Good for me!

Client meetings went well; deadlines are on track.

I’m feeling good with food as it is this week. And I’m feeling better (still congested, but better).

All is well. Blessed be.

Sharing birthday and Day of the Dead happiness — a gift for you!

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
