Look at this! Pele’s heart.
The lava shot up a heart shape and this brilliant photographer—G. Brad Lewis—got the shot. And my beloved Rabbit brought me back a print from the big island. I am blessed. It sits still covered in cellophane on my work altar, blessing all I do with her love, until I find the right and perfect frame. Then up on the wall it goes.
- I am grateful for this wonderful gift, as well as for the time spent with Rabbit, all aglow from a week on the big island, soaking up the aloha second-hand. Which, for this year, will have to do.
- I am so grateful for my almost four years as a hula student. Although I’ve stopped now, I feel powerfully and permanently connected to the culture and beauty of all things Hawai’ian. I think a part of me has always and still lives there, thrives there, knows it as home. Sigh.
- I am grateful. Life is good. And I am ready to create the most wonderful online portfolio for myself today. When I get to where I’m dreaming about layouts and functionality I know I am ready. Rockin’ on!
