gratituesday 7/8

I’m grateful today. I’m grateful for warm weather, sunshine and fans. I’m grateful for my lovely tidy home. I’m grateful for my oldtimers AA meeting on Mondays. For the pleased smiles on the faces of my peeps there when I delivered the new format to the secretary. Fun to be of service doing what I do so well.

I’m grateful for hula practice and for carpooling with my hula sisters. What a crew!

I’m grateful for sticking with hula this long. I’m amazed at myself. I haven’t quit!

I’m grateful for moments of feeling the mana—the spirit—when I dance. I actually had chills last night. Nice.

I’m grateful for my work colleagues. They make me look good!

I’m grateful that my travel to Hawai’i is fully arranged. At least the air travel part. And my first four days. The remaining week still is to be revealed. Lovely.

I’m grateful for this practice. For morning gratitudes.

I am blessed. And I get to go to see Stevie Wonder tonight!

Woohoo!

Sue

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression.
