gratituesday 8/26

Kim’s sobriety anniversary 11 years. Woohoo! I am so glad this woman is in my life. Grateful grateful grateful.

One more picture of the bay from my walk Sunday. I am into photos these days.

I have nearly completed the Wheel of the Year project I am making, based on the one Shekhinah Mountainwater has in her book Ariadne’s Thread. It’s not yet ready to show the world; there will be a sneak preview tomorrow at my Tarot class.

I am grateful for my sponsor in Mexico and our phone calls once a week. Now that she’s far away, I talk to her more consistently!

I am grateful for the images of myself and my witch sisters that we have privately posted on our Yahoo group. Hard to see myself as anything but beautiful in the company of all their beauty.

Even though I am worried about things slowing down for me business-wise, I am enjoying this week before Labor Day, kinda like an at-home vacation (although I seem to be spending as much time in front of the computer as usual). Okay it’s not a vacation, it’s a slow time when I can do projects for myself and my business. More truthful.

I am grateful I’ve decided to start another coaching certification process in March. There. That’s handled. Good for me.

I am grateful I created an Excel file to track my investments. Volatile times; good to know what’s going on.

I am grateful for swimming. Now I’ve gone twice. How many times does it take to make it a habit? I wonder. I do know that even though I don’t like the planning and schlepping involved, it feels really good in the water.

I am grateful for life, for friends, for community. I am blessed.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. 1. Swimming. Sounds great. I plan on going this weekend in Marysville. I had a swim in the lake when I went kyaking. It was wonderful. How nice to check in on your gratitudes and see me being celebrated.

Chime in!
