How do you charge your own batteries?
You deliver and deliver to your clients, and to your business. You write your newsletters, you keep up with your prospects and colleagues in your social networks, you blog… When’s the last time you unplugged and took a breather?
I am talking from experience, yo.
This Memorial Day trip was my first three-day excursion since, well, since last Labor Day weekend at the same event. I’m really good at daily walks, and weekly or biweekly trips to the woods, or to the studio to make art. But getting out of town, and away from routine, that’s a big one. The Northern California Women’s Herbal Symposium. A simply fabulous event that I have now gone to twice, and this time I got to teach!
No more words today, there will be plenty of words coming at you. Just sharing of the photos from my two classes. I facilitated The Mask of Your True Spirit and Lichen Wandmaking. Have a look! Ahh, before I transition to the photos, an invitation: Please share with me how you deliver the necessary downtime, recharge time, to your most precious self. Is this so necessary gift to yourself challenging for you as well? Write a comment, or send me a note at Sue@MagnoliasWest.com

These are great! Thanks for the inspiration. I definitely need to spend more time being creative off line. I recharge my batteries by going for a walk down by the river Swale.
@LisaFLloyd Lisa, the river Swale looks beautiful (I just looked at some pictures). Great place to recharge. Me, it’s the redwoods and the ocean that are my local havens.
Love and light,
Sue
There are some beautiful masks here! I have recently took some time away from the internet to recharge my sense of inspiration and purpose …I was getting sidetracked by all that stimulation and ‘competition’. To recharge I like hot baths, early nights, cooking, making artwork and being in nature.
@samantha jenkins Samantha, glad you like the masks! Good for you for unplugging… I love your menu of recharge activity!
Love and light,
Sue
Oh I love the blue one with the feathers! I unplug every weekend as I am online Mon-Fri.
I love that one too! It was so wonderful watching them come to life…!
