Precious one, you don’t have to do this alone

The Full Moon in Cancer is a great time to think about what you are planning for in 2014.

Before I go more into the details of this in the Moon Astrology analysis for your business, below, I’d like to share an important theme that I want to plan into my year, and yours if you so desire it!

I have yet one more theme for 2014…

…and that theme is — You don’t have to do this alone

And isn’t that a relief? You crave community, don’t you? I talk to so many passionate women in business, changemakers and healers, who are eager for community, support, and connection. I think it’s a culture-wide craving, as we do more and more of our connecting online and less and less in person.

I know for me that I am so nurtured and nourished by my support systems. My family and friends. My healers. My business coach. My teachers. My Possibility Posse mastermind. I get so much pleasure from the reminders to smile, stay connected to the divine and to my heart, and focus on the good when I am being held by the loving support of others committed to the same thing.

So I’m adding this theme — You don’t have to do this alone — to my 2014 theme of Service, as I wrote about just before the New Year here.

In support of this theme, there are two special offers I would like to share with you.

1. Sister Circle coaching

An opportunity to work with a friend  (of yours) and a mentor (me) at a reduced fee

2. Share Your Magic

Free calls.

Let me tell you about them…

Introducing Sister Circle coaching

stonewomenPerhaps you know someone…a sister in business.

If you and one or more other women are ready to sign up for three months (or more) of individual coaching, and you sign up at the same time, here’s what you’ll get:

  • Targeted individual coaching as described in my Share Your Magic program
  • A private Facebook page for you and your sister(s) and me so that you can get even more support than you get from me alone as you work through your powerful transformations
  • A 10% discount for each of you off your chosen package fee

I know the power of women’s circles

I know from years of working in groups of all kinds how the potency of one’s intentions and actions gets magnified and multiplied by group energy.

When we cast our circle, in our sacred space, your sacred intentions and actions are fed and watered in the most powerful way.

I can’t wait to get on Zoom or on the phone with you so we can look together and see what is meant to be for you and your beautiful business! The call is free and here’s the link to schedule it.

Share Your Magic — Free Calls

It’s a new year…how are you nourishing you?

As we settle into the New Year, as we move through the transitions and the time of setting intentions and goals, what actions are you taking to nourish yourself?

I have some space in my coaching practice, room to welcome one or two (or maybe three!) more spiritual businesswomen with heart into the magic of launching or growing your business in alignment with your regal and sacred mission and purpose.

Could it be you?

I have 9 openings in the next few weeks (until the end of February) for you to schedule a fee-free discovery session. If you’re a woman passionate about the work you do, and you’re ready to step out of whatever is holding you back from the magnificent expression of your heart’s vision and soul’s purpose in every aspect of your business, please accept my heartfelt invitation to a complimentary conversation with me. To read more about how I work, please check out more coaching info here.

You will leave the call with a personalized action plan and full of the excitement and energy that comes from knowing what to do next. Could be working with  me, one on one or together with a sister in your circle… Or it could be something else…let’s look!

The Discovery Session call with me is free, here’s the link to the scheduler.

One more thing…lean into the Full Moon energy this week and book your call with me now. The Cancer Full Moon opposing the Capricorn Sun—what better time to honor your loving self and your business! Let’s look even closer at the upcoming Moon:

Full Moon in Cancer

Tuesday 1/15/14
25º58′ Cancer
8:52 pm Pacific
11:52 pm Eastern
4:52 am GMT on 1/16

Some traditional names for January’s Full Moon are:

  • Winter Moon
  • Holiday Moon
  • Quiet Moon
  • Cold Moon
  • Cooking Moon
  • Wolf Moon
  • Ice Moon
  • Old Moon
  • Moon after Yule
  • Moon of the Terrible

Every Full Moon is a culmination moment…

…an auspicious moment to stand in the light of the Moon, look back at the previous month, express gratitude for what has come to pass, and set your intentions for the coming lunation. I have been doing this in my women’s Full Moon circle for many years. At the Full Moon, the Moon—your true internal self: your feelings, emotions, needs, fears and hopes, your ability to trust—is directly opposite the Sun—your light, the face you show to the world.

The Capricorn Sun represents our structures, and the structures of our society. The Cancer Moon asks us if we are being nurtured as we yearn to be, and as we deserve to be. Are we being supported by our society? Is there anything that’s broken and is crying out to be fixed, and what can we do to help put the fix into place?

I don’t usually go on any kind of political rant here, I know my job is to serve your tender and loving heart from my own. But this Cancer Full Moon is calling out to me to speak to something that’s so broken. I have a new insurance policy, one provided by the Affordable Care Act (ACA, aka Obamacare). I was so excited about this insurance policy, as it looked like all the doctors I used and wanted to use were on the plan, and I need some testing and care after being sick for so long.

I’ve been trying to use my new insurance, and every single doctor that I’ve called so far, every single one that is on the plan website, and is supposed to be participating in my plan, is refusing to take it—or any—ACA plans. Seems like the negotiated payments the doctors receive are lower than they want to take.

Even worse, neither of the local hospitals in my city are taking my plan.

This is awful. I’ve called politicians, reached out to reporters. Sadly, I can’t get the insurance company to answer their phone. I don’t know how to resolve this, I just know it’s broken, and needs repair.

So, under the light of this month’s Full Moon in Cancer, I am reaching beyond my comfort zone, calling my congresswomen, health care reporters, and more. Reaching out and doing my part to help bring awareness and hopefully healing to what seems to be so broken, and so poorly serving the people that it’s meant to serve.

There’s some good astrological news

Thankfully, Saturn is helping things along, and I’ll take all the help I can get! At the Full Moon Saturn will be making beneficial aspects to both the Sun and the Moon. Since Saturn is all about results, this should be very encouraging if you’re dealing with a seemingly insoluble (ahem!) problem.

Pluto in Capricorn is also insistently showing what is corrupt and broken in the world. Until April, when Pluto stations retrograde, more will continue to be revealed, especially the broken bits that need to be transformed.

The Full Moon is also part of the ongoing Pluto/Uranus square, making it impossible for you to be in denial any more. It’s time — has been for a while — for you to turn your attention to your life’s purpose and how you can best serve your community, our tribe, the world.

Venus retrograde is about to reborn, she will appear as a Morning Star for the first time this year on January 17th. This is an excellent time to stand in and manifest your divine Feminine.

Mars is part of the ongoing grand cross and forms the closest aspect of it to this Full Moon. Mars in Libra calls for peace, harmony and justice, and promises true happiness that arises out of the work you do to that end. We have about six months to work toward these critical qualities as Mars is staying in Libra until late July with a long retrograde starting in March.

How are you standing for justice and aligning your inner feminine nurturing qualities with the practical need for healing broken structures and systems this Full Moon? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

I’m a barely tamed hippie, sage, seasoned, sarcastic (not all the time any more, but still). I’m a mom, a daughter, sister, a neighbor, and a friend. I’ve been on this meandering journey — like you, probably — seeking a better connection to and experience of peace, harmony, and fun in every bit of life. I’m single, quite good at it, and mostly love it. I’m here for the conversations I get to have with you, which these days center on exploring the mystery and beauty of life, work, health, aging, and creative expression. 1. I always love your messages, and this one is soo beautifully timely 🙂 This Cancer moon is hitting me hard – tears every which way you look! I’m just letting it flow…

The title alone was enough to make me smile, and then you filled the page with your special brand of comfort, wisdom and Love. Thanks, Sue. I’m going to say some happy prayers of gratitude to the Moon and all her cohorts for the powerful lessons and healing she brings.

    Big love to you <3

    • Jenny, thanks so much. May your tears be a balm to your soul and your beautiful heart.

I’ll be basking in the Moon’s glow with you. May we and all be blessed!

  2. Some awesome packages you are offering, Sue! Loved this post. I’m down with the flu so I’m taking it easy right now but I hope to be awake for the full moon tonight.

    • Arwen, oh thanks for saying that. I’m excited to do my work in this way to usher in this year. Feel better, beautiful!

      Love and light,

  3. Thank you Sue for the post. I love how your focus is to help empower women! I am really sorry about your issues with the health care (Obama care). My view on this is that if this thing was good for us, it wouldn’t have to be “mandatory”, there would be no need to enforce it by monetary sanctions. So no, I don’t believe in Obama”care.” I hope you will overcome this challenge very soon. Kisses and Hugs.

    • Elzbieta, welcome here.

Thanks for your kind words. This whole insurance thing is a recurring opportunity for me to live in alignment with my standards, and focus on the good.

As they say in Brooklyn, it’s an AFGO: Another Fucking Growth Opportunity.

      Love and magic,

  4. Beautiful post, Sue! I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and emotional lately, and hope that the good astrological news will help bring more of a sense of balance!

I love your focus on “You Don’t Have to Do This Alone” – the title itself makes me breathe a sigh of relief and relax my shoulders.  Beautiful coaching offers, and they sound so empowering.

Thank you so much for yet another powerful post and for sharing your offerings. They sound very supportive and divine. I am feeling a lot of what you are sharing with this new full moon and being open at the same time to all that occurrs. Taking it easy, while stepping into new opportunities seems to be the message for me at the moment and I am easily going with the flow and standing in my power and truth to share the love with others.

Thank you and a very Happy and prosperous New Year in 2014 for you xx

I’m so sorry about your insurance situation.  I’m in transition to a new insurance myself, which brings interesting beaureacratic details.  Good luck with this.  I’m amazed by how deeply committed you are to the greater good.

    • Sandra, welcome, so glad to talk to you here.

I stepped way out of my comfort zone, found a health care blogger and my story should go live tomorrow. Wonder what will happen then?

      Thanks for the compassion!

      Love and light,
